Help turning Outside-In caller ID on

Hello to all,

I had our telco start sending us caller name id but need to turn something on in our switch obviously to get it to display on the Dterm phones. Can someone please help?

I have a NEAX 2400, new as of August 2006 and yes it is equiped for caller ID. I'm not sure of the software version.

I would assume you have ISDN in your 2400. If that is the case all you should have to turn on is the IND CND in ARTD. That CND number is 112.

On your voice ISDN route just turn on (make it equal 1) CDN 112. That should enable the Caller Name feature.

The other post was referencing how it is displayed. By default the name is on the top line and the call ID number is on the middle line.

I'm coming in late to this, but if you have ISDN circuits coming in you actually only need ARTD CDN 50 set to a 1.

You can find your PBX version by running the command DISS.
