| Junior Member | Upgrade firmware on Dterm IP phones I have a 2400 with a mix of digital and IP phones. Some IP phone displays go blank about once every 3 weeks and the display only comes back after I reset the phone. Will upgrading firmware fix this problem? If so, how do you upgrade the firmware. I am currently running: Software -P2PW 01.24 Hardware -01.40 Thanks |

| Junior Member | Off of NTACs website - downloads/IP-Terminals-PBX/How to upgrade Flash Rom for IP Phones on Neax2000 IPS and Neax2400 IPX It's pretty easy - you can even set up automatic updates (so you don't have to physically touch each phone). With new releases, I usually manually update 10-15 phones, and make sure the update doesn't induce some new NEC wackiness. Then after a week or two, I'll push the upgrade to the remaining phones. For giggles, call NTAC and say that you're having issues paging through the IP phones |
