Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have a newly installed 24ptrb-a pri card installed that is connected to ShoreTel phone system. I am able to pass calls all day long between the ShoreTel and the NEC 2400 but I can not send a call that comes from the shoretel on the 24ptrb-a (route 20) out the existing telco PRI connection (route 1). I can see that the card is getting the proper digits passed to it (9-xxx-xxx-xxxx) but all I get is a reorder tone. I have ARRC set to 1 for the 1<>20 route, 1<>31 and 20<>31. What else am I missing? side note, have not forgot about the original thread but I will post all of this info to it once I get it 100% working for those doing searches in the years to come.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Ok, You stated you have ARRC set as a 1 is that for "A" &"D" ? both should have a 1 set in that command also don't forget to tie the LCR route to the incoming and out going route as well. The next thing I would look at would be ISMC layer 3 detailed trace and see where the failure is coming from...Is it telco or is it the NEC PBX. Some times you need to do things in ACNP and ACDN like skip 10 ad 10 so that Telco doesn't see a trunkcated message and drop the call, thats where ISMC comes in handy. If you have no Idea how to use that command just post back here and I will assist as best I can PBXMAN101

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | AbuShail, thanks for the link. I have read the section on trunk to trunk and have that right. I did see a note that said I need to look at tandem switching for direct trunk to trunk which is what I want. However going though the step by step that offers breaks the connectivity between the NEC and the ShoreTel. Still searching though the pages to find more info.

Rep Power: 7 ![]() | Also one other quick note that I forgot to mention If this system is ICS J version or higher set ASYD sys 1 index 243 to a 31(hex) for tandem trunk connections. you may also want to see if you have answer supervision set on the PRI route as well (artd cdn 2 PBXMAN101

ASYD was already set that way, ARTD cdn 2 is set to 2. I forget to mention that we have another t1 that is connected to a IPK. The users on the IPK can call out though the 2400 if if they know the right codes first (*8-9-xxx-xxx-xxxx) so I know the switch allows it just right now its not allowing the stations off of route 20 to do it.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | DallasGooner One important point must be cosidered in trunk to trunk connection feature....It is the Polarity Reverasl ..You must have this P.R provided to your trk lines.
