There really is two access codes. The user press 9 on the phone then once the ShoreTel sees that it needs to go to the nec it adds another 9 to the front of the number. The ShoreTel is sending 9-xxx-xxx-xxxx to the NEC. I can confirm this to.

Ok I'm kinda jumping in the middle here but I have some questions as well.

1. are you using ATDP?

2. the connection to the shoretel is PRI, QSIG or plan old T-1 Tie?

3. what is your ARNP for Rt 20 and your Rt 1?

4.Do this and let me know,if you recieve a call into the shoretel and answer it there then transfer it to the NEC and answer it there can you transfer the call out side then?

5. Run ISCM layer 3 detail on the data channel the Level 7 (example 001157)

6.attach it here for review

Yes, I have tried a good number settings and none have worked yet. Even calling 800 numbers from the ShoreTel does not work and 800 numbers are allowed on the NEC accros the board. On tandem TDI=1 and outgoing:

So by the looks of this ATDP you are allowing 9 + the number dialed if this is the case add an additional 9 infront so a toll free entry would look something like this. 991800 tdi=1 for your tandem connection.

ISMC
after the system messages stop you should see information on the top part of the screen. make a couple of test calls note the time and number dialed and post back

Well I got a 911 call to route out but I can not get any other external call to work. (800, local, LD).

The 911 call tells me that the signaling is right, its seems to be a route restriction on the NEC. That sound right?

Did you modify your ATDP data as pbxman101 mentioned in his post #35 "adding another 9 to the DC field in all list"?
Did you allow all routes to call each other in comman ARRC ?
also you have you modified the number of digits to be dialed as in Command AMND?

Fix found!

First off thank you to Abu and pbxman for your help. Here is what fixed it.

ARTD and set 66 to 15. It was set to 4 so that is why 911 and 4-digit dialing worked. Upping the digits made all calls work.
