Post How would I change the number for 411 on NEC 2000 IPS

Currently our phone bill is extremely high due to the number of people that dial 411 in our hospital. I would like to change the PBX so that when someone dials 411 from any NEC phone that is connected to our PBX that it routes the call to: 1-800-411-6387. I was told this is possible. Could anyone help me?

Probably the best thing (if it's legal - I don't know what '411' is!) would be to either make 411 a virtual extension which is forwarded to that number, or perhaps a speed dial, essentially doing the same thing.

You could have to break down the LCR programming to point your trunk access code, followed by 411 back internally (8003) and so on. Do they dial a trunk access (like 9) before 411 or does 411 go straight out over a trunk.
