Unhappy Ven memory problem! please help.

Hi,

There is a Ven memory problem in my IPS.I just do not know what to do anymore. All the stations without Ven memory do not show on SMDR records. I did a list-up with command F59. Look at the VEN memory assignment:

... (130 stations with VEN memory)
F59>2577:LEN0003,VEN07FB (OK)
F59>2385:LEN0002,VEN07FC (OK)
F59>2378:LEN005E,VEN07FD (OK)
F59>2573:LEN0000,VEN07FE (OK)
F59>2590:LEN0107 (No VEN memory!)
F59>2209:LEN005F (No VEN memory!)
... (285 stations without VEN memory)

I also started a thread in another forum.
A b load has been sugested but i'd like to avoid it.

I would say a B load is the only way forward. If there is corruption in there, you need to start with a clean slate. It's not the end of the world thanks to the Mach script editor.

But lets see what others say.

Yes indeed I love mach script editor but i'd like to know what to prepare before doing it.
Here is what I have so far in excel:

Stations assignments,Call forward,Numbering plan,Caller ID,DID,Voicemail ports,Paging.

I am not sure what to load first in Mach script when I do the B load. What about settings for trunk routes and my connexion to other PBX?

Is there any instructions I can use for doing a B load?

Loading the script is easy but how do I make sure I do not forget anything?

list up everything! I'm assuming you are using the list up in matworx and not trying to do it manually, but take a backup as well so that if it doesn't come good you can always get back to where you were.

When it comes to putting them back in let them load in the order they came out (which will be numerical based on command number) for example 9000 will go in before 93 because 9000 is actually 90XX.

Yes I do a list up with Tool/Office Data Listup.. in Matworx. I've selected everything and saved all the .cvs in a folder. I can only load 1 csv at the time in Mach script.
How can I load them all at once?
Can I combine all the .csv into one big .csv?

I don't know of any limit to the number of lines allowable in a CSV for the script editor but yes you can just append them. You can load more than one script at a time as it asks you if you want to overwrite the existing entry and if you say no it tags it on the end (I think) but it is easy enough to merge them either in excel or notepad.

I have put them in order and will merge them but I have noticed something..
Command 14 is missing.I guess Command 10 is replacing it.
Is there other command that are not listed by Office data? I do not want to miss anything.
Look at the order of some of the csv files, I am not sure if its the way they came out but I had put them in ascending order.

CM02_Clock.csv
CM04_Service.csv
CM05_FPAP_Kind00.csv
CM05_FPAP_Kind01.csv
CM06_APAllocate.csv
CM07_BRT.csv
CM07_DTI_PRI.csv
CM07_Virtual_Trunk.csv
CM08_Basic.csv
CM09_Additional.csv
CM0A_IPSetting.csv
CM0B_LANData.csv
CM0C50_IPFirm.csv
CM0C_IPFirm.csv
CM10_LTAllocate.csv
CM11_Virtual_Line.csv
CM12_Station_Class1_0.csv
.... and more

Beware

It's actually the other way round. Cmd 14 is superceeding command 10. Do a lenlist as that outputs the data in Cmd 14 layout (5 digit len numbers) and make sure the Cmd 10 listup covers everything. If you don't have any IP stations you should be ok though.

Thanx a lot for your help. I will give it a try. There is something I have realized though, analog station have no VEN memory, so it is normal that I do not see VEN memory assigned to them.It still does not explain why I do not see all stations with SMDR on my APPO card. I just hope a B load will fix it.
