NeaxMail AD-64 Interview box

So, I'm setting up an interview box but I have a question. I'm not sure about how long to set the reply time. If I set it to 1 minute and the reply is only 12 seconds long, what happens. Does the person doing the interview have to sit through 48 seconds of dead air? Is there a way to have it end at that time? Any information would be great, thanks.

You append the message and cut off as much dead air as you need.

So I tested this little feature and it seems to work pretty well. When I set the reply time to 360 seconds and talk for about 10, the system seems to realize that I have stopped and flips to the next question after about 5 seconds. Handy. I can put the system ID in a phone menu and get to it that way but I can't transfer directly to the system ID. Anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to set that up? The idea is that our support department fixes and issue with a customer and asks if they want to do a survey. If they agree, the tech forwards the call to the interveiw box. It's the forwarding part that I seem to be having issues with.

In an interview box if you ask caller to press the # key to advance to the next question it saves the caller from having to wait 5 seconds after each question. Also if you are not able to transfer a caller directly to the Interview box then assign a virtual extension that is forwarded to voicemail, then you can use extension redirect in the voicemail to get a caller to the interview box.

OR, you can set up the dial number you choose for your support line to get Extension Remapped to the ID of the interview box. That should work as well.

I love extension remapping, wonderful tool.
