Hi,

I've got an 8COTT card installed in LT00 in my small system. We have only one external line coming into the MDF, which is patched into LEN000.

When a station hits 0 to get an external line it cycles through all 8 trunks, even though we only have one active line, resulting in dead air on the additional 7.

Can anyone assist me in 'turning off' the extra 7 lines?

I've sorted this one out. I previously used the Quick Start which setup the trunk route to use all 8 ports on the COT.

I did a fresh B load and did it manually and setup only LEN000 to access trunk 000.

You could have just made the other 7 busy using command E51. That way if you added another trunk later it would already be programmed and you would just have to unbusy it.

Or you can delete the other LENS 001~007, by using CM10,and CCC them
that will solve also your issue.
and in case you need to add new CO later, just do it by CM 10....
