Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Unrestricting what? in 15 you set up your feature classes and a change here would apply to all stations with that feature class 1202 is where you apply those feature classes to individual extensions. But in my experience when someone is talking about restrictions they usually mean dialing ability eg international, STD, local etc and for that you should be looking at Cmd 1201 where you enter two digits for each extension. The first is the day time restriction and the second is the night time restriction. 1 is usually unrestricted ant the higher you go the more restricted you get. However as this can change from system to system you should compare settings to find out the differences. I usually ask the customer if there is a phone currently set the way they want this one set and then look it up to find the correct setting.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Unrestricting Ext.. Thanks for the reply, Sorry I should have been more clear on my request. I am trying to allow Ext 490 to Dial Outbound Unrestricted. If I understand the Manual and your Info. I would enter in Command Mode ST + 1201 + DE + 490 + DE + 11 + EXE is this Correct? I Should also note that I have not had much Programing Experience with the NEAX2000, Iv'e been a PBX Nortel Tech for 25 yrs, and just trying to help out an associate that has this equipment and looking for a few changes... Thanks for all your help. PS. have a CAT Manual, any idea where I could get a MAT Manual? Thanks again jbrad

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Your understanding is correct, however it should be borne in mind that the restriction classes can be modified, but that is another matter. Manuals can be found here..... http://www.neccare.com/cng/docs.nsf/Lib3?OpenView Under the NEAX2000/Neax1000 heading then select your system type then you want the Command manual. I would also recommend the feature programming guide for newbies as well. There is also a feature description manual which can clarify what you are trying to achieve. Another area worth a visit for tutorials is here...... http://www.tek-tips.com/faq.cfm?pid=937 Hope this helps.
