Rep Power: 4 ![]() | The problem with this is it takes a physical change on either the patch panel if you have one or the TPF (Test Point Frame) if not. For the latter you will need a punch down tool that suits your installation as well (Oh yes you may also need a supply of Jumper wire too). If any of the above makes sense post back and we will see what can be done. Also let us know if you are just looking to swap two extensions or are you going to need to create a new digital?

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Ok you need to log into the system and then use Cmd F52 de analogue extn number de and it will give you the LEN number for that extension. Then do the same again for the digital but you have to prefix the digital extensions number with an F again you will get back the LEN number. If the installer did his job correctly there should be a record book listing the LEN numbers against their positions on the frame. from there it's just a case of swap the two jumpers and swap the phones. If there is no record book it gets more complicated and you would need to get back to us.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | I probably missed the point that having swapped the two you can then swap the extension numbers in Cmd 10. Don't delete the numbers simply overwrite one of them with a dummy number for example if you want to swap 545 with 576 you would go into cmd 10 and put in the len number for say 545 and then enter 54* against it. This frees up 545 so then you go to the len for 576 and enter 545 against that. Finally you go back to the len that now has 54* againt it and enter 576 against that. this gets rid of 54* and the two numbers are swapped over. It's necessary to do this as otherwise all the rest of the programming against the extensions will reset to default and you will have a lot more work to do.
