Exclamation Switching from 8 button to 16 button Dterm Series E Problem

Here's the situation. I replaced an 8 button Dterm Series phone with a 16 button Dterm Series phone. The programmed buttons that were on the 8 button phone ( buttons 1-8 ) are now programmed on buttons 9-16.

If I look in MatWorx, it shows my line 1 is programmed on button 1. Command 9000 verifies this, but when the phone rings, my line one is on button 9. Button 10 is my line two, and so forth.

How do I fix this? I tried unplugging the phone and plugging it back in. I've tried deleting the extension from the LEN list and recreating it. I went into MatWorx and changed my phone to a 16D Series E, but my buttons are still on 9-16.

Anybody seen this before?

Thanks!

1217 shows the default value of 3 on each of the stations on the 8 port DLC. I've reset the system last night, and the problem is still there. The original extension that this phone belonged to worked fine. I've moved this phone to two other extensions (Mine currently) and problem repeats. Any other suggestions?

Problem Resolved. The phone is defective. I found a 32 button phone not in use, and plugged it into my line. It works fine.

I took this 16 button to another station that already has a 16 button, and got the same result. The problem seems to follow this particuar phone, and doesn't appear to be a system wide problem.

I still have no explaination as to why it was working before, and after unplugging it, it now does this. If anybody has any suggestions on that matter, I would be happy to hear them.

Thanks!
