I have a system that has a remote pim. We recently had to replace the cpu at the main location due to a lightening strike. Since that time, I have been fighting a low volume issue between locations. I had to upgrade the remote pim to the latest software; equal to that of the new cpu.(P2) I have been talking to NEC and they have made changes but nothing seems to help. Here are my current settings and specifically, the problem is only when the main location calls the remote location and when a call comes into the remote location that DITs to the main location:
3519 all routes involved are 7
42 de 50-53 are 07
6702 de 0000 (NTAC made the remote pad and local pad 00) is 0808.
As far as this setting goes in 6702, Ntac said it should be 0000. I changed it to 0808. They made suggestions strongly suggesting that any changes in 6702 should be in equal amounts. whatever I increase the db by on transmit should be countered on the recieve with an equal minus db.
Any help would be appreciated.
