Question Revert-back to orig config

Hi there! Let me get straight to the point... Is it possible to revert back to original configuration after we upgraded the MP version of NEAX 2000 IPS (i.e. from R7 to R9)? Then, how?
Any reply is very much appreciated. THANKS!

Just reload with the original R7 disks. We have had to downgrade CPU's to match a remote pim network without having to upgrade all sites. You will just not have all the features. Is there a reason for the downgrade?

Question

Well, after upgrading the MP from R7 to R9, PN-32IPLAA IPPADC with PN-16VCTA can no longer be accessed. RUN LED shows abnormality (i.e. steady lit instead of blinking). We wish to revert it back to R7 to rectify the problem... Any idea? THANKS!

I would make sure the software version your are referring to is correct. The IPS went from R6.2 3200 to R8 3300 without an R7 version. If it is software before R6.2 you have to make sure you do a database conversion command in off-line mode. Make sure you go into off-line mode then go to Command 00 DE 90 DE 0 execute.

Question

MP's original SC no. was 3216... which is R7... I guess. Is CMD00>90:00 only applicable for upgrading MP version from 3300 series to 3400 series? Correct me if I'm wrong... Thanks!
