Question merging of software

hi! wish to know how to merge software in neax 2000ips? we do have existing 256 port capacity software but needs to add another 128 ports. wish to know all items required and most importantly HOW-TO? appreciate any help.. big thanks in advance!

You can order a 128 port upgrade from your vendor or directly from NEC.

The upgrade licences now come on CD rom. You will need MAT-T cable or TCPIP connection to your PBX & Matworx software with the IPS registration tool to install the software and register it.

All of the above should be available through your vendor or NEC directly.

is there any special procedures for software merging? or I just have to add this 128 ports capacity software same procedures as newly installed PBX? thanks again!

Matworx will guide you through the process. Similar to adding ports w/new install, yes.

If you have newer CPU (CP24) then you should not have to reset the system or change the sense wheel.
