Does it matter if it supports IP ?
For me , I am concern with Nec 2000 IPS, and the other Could be Alcatel OmniPCX , it is the headache for some one else.

You can use only H.323 now.

Cards: SPN-IPTB-B and SPN-4VCTI-B. + license FIPTL
You must use Gatekeeper. Quantity of 4VCTI depends of used codec and payload.

Has any one done it before?
I would like to know more details about how to program that service.

Not all VoIP is the same flavour. There is H.323, SIP and MGCP.

According to the system manual:H.323 IPT/4VCT card and IPPAD
card are required

The PBX you mentioned being H.323 compliant that should do it. Not sure whether you would get any functionality other than placing a call though. I think CCIS over IP only works on Protims. The Alacatel also supports a SIP gateway so that might be another way to go with SIP trunks on the IPS.

I believe if you are not going to do any compression on the voip trunks you do not need the VCTI cards?

Is this correct?
