Cool 2000IPS to Brooktrout

Is it possible to setup 4 Analog DID lines from the 2000IPS to a Brooktrout TR1034+up4d. I need to be able to route faxing inbound using the DID and i would like to put the fax server behind the PBX rather then ordering 4 new Analog DID trunks from our telco and having our existing DID numbers routed to those new trunks. Thank you for any help. Right now I have standard analog and digital cards and 3 t1 trunk cards.

I cant see any reason why not. I have done a similar thing with 1 x DDI and 4 x analog stations that connect to a RAS server. I found the best thing to do is to put them all in a UCD group so calls get distributed to each modem evenley

hope this helps

you know that a DID card is for inbound only!

Use a trunk card COT and pulse digits you may need to set 1225 and 08>443

Mextera.

Think we may need to clarify terms here. Bob is thinking that you will be using four analog stations on the NEC to connect to Brooktrout trunk interfaces (Yes?). As I recall from my time in the US an analog DID is an entirely different interface (which on the one system I worked on that supported them required a completely different card).

Mex is right they are inbound only.
