Lost outside dialing - PBX Info :: Your Free PBX, PABX and Telephone Information Resource

We had a power outage and now we are unable to dial any outside lines. We can dial internal and calls can be received. Is this a hardware issue from the outage.

Give more details about your complaints ...
what is your pbx type & version? what cpu is used? what type of outside lines are you using? are you using backup batteries?? when you dial the access code for outside line, Do you hear dial tone on your outside lines?

You could try to put an analog phone direct on the Telco line and see if it's working. Maybe Telco is down .
