Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Problem 1 User has a 4 digit extension and a VM account that is already been set up and verified. If a caller calls in from the outside they must call the front desk and be transferred. When the operator does that his call is automatically dumped into his VM. If you call after hours and put in his extension you get the "I'm sorry, I didn't hear your selection". problem 2 A different user has been here several months and is part time and never finalized her VM. I went through the set up options with her and after we were done the VM server told us it was complete. I hung up and dialed 3000 expecting to get to her VM account and instead it acted like we never set anything up and wanted to start from the beginning again. We did it again and the same thing happened. | ||||||||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Voice Mail issue has improved somewhat... I went to both to make sure they didn't have call forward all and went through the #8, #6 and #5 commands to make sure they were off. I then called in from the outside and still got the "I'm sorry, I didn't hear your selection" There is one improvement tho. If the front desk girl is there and I call from the outside I CAN be transferred to either of those lines and not be dumped directly into voice mail but if I call the after hours line and ask to be transferred then I still get the "I'm sorry...." line. Hey at least I'm half way there! | ||||||||

Location: Sterling, Virginia; USA Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Have you made sure they can be listed in the directory? If you go through the 411 does it allow to be transfered to the extension? Is the extension set to release? Sorry for asking questions that you probably already looked at/answered for yourself. | ||||||||
