Location: Youngstown, Ohio Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am using virtual extensions to forward incoming calls to cell / home phones. the procedure works good from any phone within the office with an immediate release, but my problem is that the operator cannot release the call right away from the console. is there anyway to shorten the time the operator can release to a virtual extension? thanks, bill

I setup a virtual extension for user A which is user A's home number or cell phone number. When the operator tries to transer a call to a virtual extension, the operator cannot release the call until someone on the other end answers. This ties up the operator and prevents the operator from answering other incoming calls.

Check CM3504 in yr manual. Normally telco should provide this signal service.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Don't think CMD 3504 will help. It occurs to me that you want the the call to be sent immediately. If you set 3504 to 3 (i.e. not rely on supervision signal) it will then use the system data timer set by 410>03? which I believe cannot be set lower than 4 seconds.

Location: Ramtha City Rep Power: 6 ![]() | If you refer to service conditions in the manual you will read: "12. After a TRUNK TO TRUNK CONNECTION is established, both trunks are released when a disconnect signal is received by either trunk." If disconnect signal is set in CM3504 , and the CO line provides release signal then the call will be disconnected immediately upon completion of the call. In case the release signal is NOT provided and the called number answers then the time set in CM410>03 will be used to disconnect the call on completion of the call In case the called number does NOT answer then the call will be locked and it will ONLY be released by other ways like: CM EB0>Dxxx >CCC Last edited by AbuSuhail; September 28th, 2006 at 05:39 PM.
