Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am new to NEC, I have an Avaya background and there is a huge difference in the way you do things. Anyway my question is as follows: what is the difference between the NEAX2000 IPS and the IVR2? I started a new job and the new company happends to have an NEAX2000 IPS since I have a little telephony background I have been selected as the keeper of the PBX. The only manuals I could find in the phone room are for a IVR2 and I understand those are the books the the installer brought. I can't find a manual for the IPS anywhere so I was wondering if they are pretty much the same.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | If you mean IVS2 then you can get by with those manuals until you move into such things as IP telephony with the IPS. With the IPS you will probably find the manuals are on a CD as they are seldom printed. Try searching through your CDs.
