NEC2000IVS vs Repartee MCI

Well, I need some help on an interesting issure using an MCI link on a Repartee2003 and the IVS. When I look at the data stream- calls are answered correctly, transferred calls, user login are correct. However, when the VM tries to lite the message lamp- it errors out and the data stream does not complete, even after several attempts. Am I looking at a cable problem with DTR and DSR? The NEC cable is the RV cable which connects to a standard RS232 to a 9 pin serial. The AP00 connection is on port 1 and the data settings match at the VM/Serial/AP00 - 9600/N/8/1. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

If the repartee is answering the call with the correct voicemail box greeting then the cable must be OK as the extn number the call is forwarded from is in the mci. I would be looking at other things such as Cmd 1303 on the IVS or whether the repartee is correctly set up.

Thanks for your input! We are leaning that way as well. I have a conference later today with Activevoice to look at the data stream. They took the initial position that the data stream was failing due to improper cable connection and yet the message lamping was the only problem we can find so far....
We looked at Cmd 1303 and believe it is correct as well. The saga continues...
