Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Hi guys, I am trying to work out where to set the phone number that our system diverts inbound calls to when it is in night mode. we use an after hours messaging service and we will be changing providers so I need to know where to change the number that we divert to. I could call the people that support the system but I object to be charged a minimum fee of 1 hr for a 5min job. I am comfortable with programming the system and have had a hunt around the 30xx commands but just can't work it out Thanks in advance

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | this is the data under that command 5809>00:NONE 5809>01:NONE 5809>02:NONE 5809>03:7170 5809>04:7177 5809>05:7177 5809>06:NONE 5809>07:NONE 5809>08:NONE The 7xxx numbers are odd, we were sub-letting part of our site and had them set up on our phone system and they used extensions like that. we use 3 digit extenstions and our reception is on 77 ![]()

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | OK so what is the data in Cmd 3005 for your trunks? Also check 5001 de 0 de and step through to 7. 5001 will tell us if your main number is an LDN (assuming we find it there) if not 3005 should have a destination. It is also possible that Cmd 76 is the controlling factor as your LDN could be converted to another number in night mode so you need to check 3518 to see if digit conversion is used.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Ok so 888 is set as an LDN but you say there is nothing in 5809 which is where you set the destination when you use LDN diversion. You can confirm this by checking 5803 de 1 de. So all this leaves (I think) is digit conversion in cmd 76 so check cmd 3518 and cmd 3512 if 3518 is 1 then we are on the right track. When you check 3512 don't forget that 0=1, 1=2 etc. You can then check 7600 for however many 8s 3512 tells us are used. this will give you a conversion block number. Then Cmd 7602 for that block number should tell you where it goes. If it is a different extension number then check the forwarding of that extension and that should be where you change it's ultimate destination. Mind you if anyone else can think of an alternative......

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | E600 de 990 de will show the destination if it is forward all, note if this is external it will just show the line access code followed by a dash eg. in America this would be 9- ( here in OZ it is 0-) and you have to press de again to see the number. to delete it you enter CCC exe or you can just overwrite it using 9,XXXXXXX exe note the comma seperator between the access code and the number. if you just want it to go to an extension number simply enter the number exe. One thing I should stress is you need to be at the stage where the dash is showing on the current line to enter new info so if you pressed de to see the number you should press de again to get back to the dash. Now if it is a call forward no answer or busy you will need to check commands E601 and E602 or just E603. There are others but they are seldom used. The thing is this isn't a "night call forward" it is a permenant call forward on 990. The reason it only works at night is the digit translation is split into a day, night, mode a & mode b setting and we checked what 888 was translated to at night. if you check 7601 for 888 it will probably say 888 because that is the day destination. Glad to have been of help.
