Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have three questions that I have been trying to figure out. Does anyone know why in the administration console the greeting options on the subscriber directory are standard or alternate greetings but in the transaction box the options are day, night, and alternate greetings ? How do you record a night message from the users phone and switch between day and night messages ? Also, I have run into the problem of when someone uses the menu through the phone to switch from the standard greeting to the alternate greeting the system tells the user that the message is switched and plays back the correct message when you listen but, when you call the phone from another number it still plays the standard message. Any help would be greatly apperciated. | ||||||||

Location: Sterling, Virginia; USA Rep Power: 4 ![]() | The day and night messages are set via the schedule. The alternate message can be turned on and will override all schedules. You can only switch between day and alternate during the day scheduled time. To record the night greeting during the day you have to change the time of the VM or change the schedule, record the night greeting, then change the time or the schedule back. You might want to listen to both the day and the alternate greeting, they might be exactly alike, if you want to verify, change to alternate greeting mode, re-record the greeting, then call in to see if it plays the alt or day greeting. | ||||||||
