Carrier dialtone or 2nd dialtone

We are in the process of planning a migration from our current Mitel SX2000 platform to the Avaya VoIP platform. Has anyone had the pleasure of this experience, and if so, how did it go? Would you also be willing to share your lessons learned?

Thanks in advance,
Jim.

Hey Jim,

Have you already purchased the Avaya? I am curious as to why you chose avaya over many of the other VoIP systems out there such as Nortel, Cisco, or even a Mitel voip system.

Hey Jim,

Let me know how the migration goes to the Avaya system. I am starting to have doubts about them. Our sales rep was awesome and the tech they sent to do the install knew her stuff on the Avaya side, but when it came to the integration... well lets say its a good thing we had config notes. Even then their documentation was incorrect with regards to certain features that were available, then weren't supported and then work if you spend the time to figure it out on your own.

I want to go with Avaya VoIP, but not sure I can deal with it.

Thanks
B
