Hi All,

Im a Nortel/ Seimans tech for an interconnect that has been asked to maintain an old SX-200 for a customer we are going to install a Seimans switch into this coming new year.

I worked on a SX-200 a few years ago in a lab and remember it being a very friendly switch to work with, but that is about all I remember. Does anyone have some documentation they can share with me so I can familiarize myself with how to do MACs of various types and basic maitenance.

Cheers,
Adam

please provide a bit more inof if possible.

hardware type? Get the main controller part no. if possible.

1. (sx200) analog - single yellow/beige cabinet on wall or desk contains Superset Line / On-Premise Line Cards w/ clear face plates.

2. (sx200D) digital - beige bar fridge on wheels; contains ONS Line/ COV Line w/ black (opaque) face plates.

3. (sx200L) Light - white PC tower style cabinet(s); contains ONS Line/ COV Line/ or Digital Line cards. w/ black (opaque) face plates.

software version? Get the current system load D.41 or G.04 or whatever this is if possible. If you have a hardware #1 type you will likely have a 205/215/217/ or 218 release ?!?

AYC ... update this post and we will can certainly help you quickly.
There is a good doc link in here that can help for most of these.
