Location: British Virgin Islands Rep Power: 5  | I have a customer that wants to use Forced account codes on a 3100 for billing purposes for clients. Mitel technical support says that it is not possible and I am wondering if these account codes can be programmed as speed dial numbers. I suggested that they go to the 3300 but price is a big factor.  | ||||||||

| Moderator  | holy telco nightmare batman! What release of 3100 are you using? Why you ask. Well check out the attachment I have added from the latest release 4.1 (north american version mind you!) This states 'mandatory' account codes are progrogrammable to an individual key on a set or they can be accessible by dialing the relative feature access code. This is interesting ... I have seen this before where the support guy was very green. Read on and talk to your Mitel TAM if need be. -------------- You know the sx200ICP is certainly lower in cost than the 3300 at this time (promotionally) and it is very capable of VoIP and can do Forced account codes (verified if necessary). -------------- Cheers [[]]D |
