Location: Utah Rep Power: 6 ![]() | I have a new install. They have 2 800 numbers coming in on different extensions. However they want all messages sent to one mailbox. I have tried a few things and not gotten this to work. If anyone has done this let me know. Thanks Kevin

Location: Kitchener, Ontario Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Panasonic KX-TA616 no register out calls Hi switch. I am certain I can help you solve this, but a wee bit more info will help. Bare with me if you will. Its tough giving up one of my best kept secrets. Remember on this system you will require a physical port in order for a message lamp to be turned on ... I use a 'beehive' for this function. (1) what trunk type are you using? Analog, T1, or PRI. (2) how do these answer at the "sets"? Prime or Key Appearance? (3) do they get answered by either set or are they dedicated to each set? a/ enable ONS Voicemail Cos option in the voicemail COS over and above the defaults from the manual b/ program each 800# to ring its own phantom extension that appears as a key appearance on the respective set. c/ program these phantoms to a different tenant number than all other extensions on your system d/ set the form 19 for this tenant chosen (say number 25) to route "call forward on busy" and "call forward on no answer" to a system speed dial that contains the following dial string; [vmail access code]*9**#[mailbox number] *9**# by explanation is; *9 = wait for answer (pause one second) ** = dial a star after answer # = dial the # This should solve your problem and offer a whole new method of call management for the second greatest pbx's on the planet! I also use this invention to allow for any user (those you teach) to transfer any call from their set into another users voicemail. I set up a transfer to voicemail speed dial as; [voicemail access code]*9**#*3XX (XX is replaced by 03 for three digit plan or 04 for a four digit plan) This way your user can transfer to [system speed access code] + the destination mailbox. Kewl or what? **don't forget to add 'abbreviated dial = enabled' in the sets of the users for this feature. cheers [[]]D

Location: Kitchener, Ontario Rep Power: 5 ![]() | NEC Electra IP Phone Issues This is very interesting. I have a 2.2 here and I will get to testing it personally. In the meantime make sure your 'converted' database is correct to the manual. Add the COS option ONS voicemail to this and retest. I will let you know what I find here at my first real opportunity. Let me know if you do figure out something. Cheers [[]]D

Location: Kitchener, Ontario Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Glad to hear this has been resolved. I always forget to advise on "incoming to outgoing call forward = enable" option 21 feature as this is something I often set automatically in my world ... specifically for this voicemail feature. thanks for the update, Cheers [[]]D

I have tried this but have no luck. so would a user press transfer +speed dial + 3 digit mailbox ?
