Location: Kitchener, Ontario Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I have some good info on the inline qnx utilities that may help. First you need to update us with the revision (software level incl. RSD if any). I assume this is the 6.x MitelMail 70 chassis? You may get around the Servie diskette problem but without this disk you would be unable to restore the system after failure. You may want to search again. At your convenience.

Location: Kitchener, Ontario Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Hi again. I want to help but I would be limited at this point without your service disk that was licensed to your server. The only true way is to boot your server with the boot disk and run the service diskette (serialized) and perform the 'bypass' utility. I think this will only work with the service diskette that has the hard drive serial numbers for your server recorded on it? It has been a long time since I had to complete this task. Basically when you are asked to login; you type username = bypass with password = bypass. This should open the utility to force a change to superuser password. Write this down. Once this is changed, you should reboot and log on to your MM6.0 immediately and reset this password to your own. Good Luck and let us know how it turned out. Cheers [[]]D

Location: Kitchener, Ontario Rep Power: 5 ![]() | You can try to overwrite your forgotten password with the bypass:bypass utility I mentioned before. If you don't have the original site Service Disk ... try using another one (preferably) at the same load as the one on this box. Other than that enjoy tearing it apart for spares! Let me know .. I am interested in your luck; good Cheers [[]]D
