There is a Microsoft Hotfix KB835732 out for Windows 2000 Server, If you apply this hotfix, you will need to upgrade your OPS Manager software to 6.8.0.28 , if you don't upgrade you will not be able to perform any backups, restores,Plid collects, or automated software distributions. I had one site that the hotfixes were automatic and was able to remove this hotfix without upgrading. I was a aware of the hotfix when I noticed the Opsman wasn't doing the backups of the PBX. I got the error of the telenet. This may or may not be your problem, if it isn't and your on windows 2000 watch out for it.

Thanks for the reply. I had our vender out here and Mitel on the line. The very morning they discovered the hot fix problem. We un-installed the hot fix and every thing started working again. But my vender did not write down the hot fix and I have not been notified of the fix from Mitel. Who is your vender for your Mitel Maintenance and do they work in the SF bay area?

The fix is to upgrade your Opsman to 6.8.0.28, I work for the Mitel Office in Milwaukee,WI. After you upgrade, then reinstall the hotfix < Microsoft wrote the hotfix to shutdown access to the server via telenet session from an outside source> Removing the hotfix should only be used as a temporary fix until time allows you to upgrade the OPS Manager Server to 6.8.0.28, at which time the hotfix should be reapplied.
