Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Long distance Calling Codes We are using 3 3300 on three sites each with own PRI connection and interconnected with eachother as well through intranet for 4 digit dialings btw locations. For long distance we dial 91-xxx-xxx-xxxx then after couple of seconds gets a humming sound and we have to enter the given charge code and call goes through. It all works well but we want to create a exception for a long distance number so that who ever calls this number the charge code is automatically entered and user don't have to know or enter this charge code. Do I have to talk to telco or can anyone help me to do it within 3300 system. User will not need to dial whole 11 digit number, they will just user 4 digit number which will be set to fwd to this LD number. Thanks

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I talked to telco and they can't do it. I also talked to our Mitel dealer and he said no as well. I am looking for the similar thing that we do in cell phone's address book where we enter number + 2 seconds pause + PIN to access voicemail or calling card directly. Isn't there anything I can put in call fwd feild that creates 2 seconds pause followed by account code?

But the "proper" way to it would be via ARS, when you match that specific number send it to a special route and Modified Digit Table that detects the carrier access tone and inserts the digits, then people can just dial the number and ARS takes care of the rest. You can also setup a different MDT for each site if you want and insert the an account code digit specific to each site... __________________ Telephony users cannot gain anything without first giving something in return.
