L2 Switch

Please I need urgent help. The embedded 16 port L2 switch gives no power to the ports but one ( port 5 ). Here details of status. Any clues/tips. I have resewt the CXi and even disabled and re-enabled the ports to no avail

Although it gives no power but works with an external Poe source is connected to embedded the L2 switch. Where can one possibly a spare ( new/refurbished ) embedded L2 Switch power board for a CXi.

I don't think I have seen the L2 Switch board come as a seperate unit, I think you need to change out the whole chassis.

Sorry this is the small screw mounted board similar to the MMC boards. It is not on the main board.

I understand, what I meant was I don't think you can get that part from MITEL as an individual part. You may be able to check with Genesis, Dean, or another refurb house to get the part.

We have found it is easier to keep a spare chassis on hand of each type, they are VERY easy to swap out. Just swap the HD, SYSID chip and any other option cards and power up and you are done.
