SX-2000 Manual Wanted for MS2009 (SX Q10.7.14)

I am looking for the Folio View NFO of the manual for this system, and possibly a PDF of the Tech Handbook: SX-2000 MS2009 version SX Q10.7.14.

I am not a huge SX-2000 tech, although I can find my way around pretty well most of the time, so I can't tell you what Lightware version (if any) this would be.

I have a manual for LW34.R1 from Mitel's website, but several command do not work on this older PBX, if someone has a manual relatively close to this release, please let me know as I am having PMS integration issues at a property and cannot find exactly what I am looking for in the newer manuals.

Any help would be appreciated.

Copy of VERSION command from maintenance terminal is below:

Hi Acejavelin,

Ok here's what I have:

LW33 R3 Folio Views
LW31 R2 TBH

Sorry I don't know what this relates to in alphanumeric software levels.

What issues are you having with the PMS?

Thx bobcheese, but I am really not sure if that helps because I don't know how MS2009 relates to LW versions.

The issue is they switched from a custom built PMS application to Opera and everything is working (Check In/Out, Room Names, Maid Status, Msg Waiting) except the Room Restriction codes (RSTx <room num>) to change the restriction to local, LD, or internal from the PMS to the PBX, messages from the PMS are always NAK's by the PBX and a log is generated that in the HOTEL log that says "Invalid Function Code" from the PMS, which would indicate the RST command. I have verified it works from the console and the Hotel Options are setup correctly.

Opera says it is hard coded in there system and works on all SX-2000 systems and they cannot disable the command, and the Mitel has no options to enable or disable specific features like this, other than PMS active or not.

This normally would not be big deal, but it creates a HOTEL log that is printed to a printer at the front desk every time a check in or out occurs and this is a decent size hotel (700+ rooms) so when DB swap is executed, the printer goes through a TON of paper... they can't remove the printer because that is where wakeups are printed and that is a HUGE deal to them.

what is providing the PMS link? dataset?
have you tried a PMS simulator to send the check in?
I think we have a SX2K that is on about the same software version with PMS. I will check.
Is it Micros Fidelio Opera?

It is a Dataset 1103 providing the interface.

PMS emulator works perfectly, but the PBX rejects Room Restrict code changes from that too.

It is Micros Fidelio Opera version 5.0.

I went to this locations "sister" site, they have the same PBX and version and have the hard bound manuals onsite... The PMS section of the Optional Features manual make no mention of the RST function code on the PMS, well the LW34 manual I have does. I have pretty much come to the conclusion that this version of SX2000 software does not support that option and Micros has to find a way not to send those messages to the PBX.

If you find out something else, by all means let me know.

FYI... I found what I think is the original disk's box from Mitel, it starts LW27 on the package. Not a big issue now, but thought I would pass that on.
