3300 ICP change of IP address

I have a 3300 ICP currently configured as standalone with the default IP address /subnet 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0. I now want to incorporate to an existing LAN with minimal or no distruption to the operations. Please what would be the best approach with and without its internal DHCP enabled

Wow... that's kind of loaded question.

For small, simple setups this can be accomplished just by changing the IP information and DHCP setup of the ICP controller to accommidate the existing LAN and the phones, and then disabling the existing the DHCP server. In small setups I usually recommend using the ICP as the DHCP server just for simplicity and since most broadband routers don't allow you to setup the DHCP options needed for the phones.

Larger networks can be much more tricky, there could be VLANs or multiple subnets, multiple server, routers, gateways, and who knows what. Integrating in these configurations should be done in conjunction with the customer's IT person to form a plan that works best.

So without a bit more information about size of ICP system, size of existing network, IP info for existing network, info on current DHCP server, etc. it is hard to give you a better answer.
