You need to make the single digit mailbox a Transfer Only Mailbox, with the mailbox "extension" the destination you want it to go. Also, in ESM go to System Administration/Voice Mail/System Settings/Voice Mail Options Assignment and verify that under Auto-Attendant Transfer settings, you have "Allow Transfer to Any Number" set to true, and "Enable Supervised Transfer" set to false. __________________ Telephony users cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. You MAY have to reset after changing these, you shouldn't have to, but I have found it necessary before for the changes to take effect. __________________ Telephony users cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I had a working configuration with greetings but instead of dialling three digits to access the RAD Hunt Group I prefer a single digit like in a MLAA. Shouldn't the length of the mailbox have to match the extension. The VM options assignment is checked ok

Actually the extension length doesn't have to match at the mailbox length at all, but it makes things much easier If this is going into a MLAA menu mailbox, then you can get rid of the single digit mailbox, that is for the main AA only. Now, create a mailbox 299, that is a Transfer Only Mailbox with the extension set as 299. Then you can go into the MLAA setup and set option 2 to go to 299. A MLAA can only transfer to an "extension" that has a valid mailbox for it, and in this case you will need a mailbox for the hunt group. Give that a try, should work a little better. __________________ Telephony users cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I tried all the above but none effective. Here is situation: Trunk Service Number Non-dial In: 299 HG 299 Terminal Voice 1st RAd: 298 2nd RAD 298 Members 141, 142, 143, 144 extensions (customer service desks ) HG 298 Terminal RAD Member 293 Voicemail Greeting assigned When I dial the dedicated trunk numbers is works fine to the customer service desk with greetings Now I want an alternative to the dedicated trunks but instead use the normal public trunks that gives you primary greetings and invites caller to dial the extension number or wait for operator. I want to dial a single digit, say a 2, in this scenario, to trigger 299 which in turn plays its 1st RAD 298 to get the greeting on 293 which consequently continues to play while the customer service extensions 141, 142,143, 144 ring and of course would stop when any of these extensions answer.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | So let me be sure I understand: If you point Analog CO's to the group it works exactly as you suggest. If you point a DID (PRI) to the group it doesn't work. Is that right? How are you defining a "dedicated trunk" and how are you defining a "normal public trunk" I'd like to be sure were talking about analog CO's and DID lines. Also, when you dial from a "normal public trunk" does an agent phone ring? Dry Aquaman
