Rep Power: 0 ![]() | 3300 CX ETX/APC connection? Can some please help me. I am preparing my first 3300 CX with the APC. Reading the documentation it says to connect both the ETX port and the LAN port to the LAN. I understand the 3300 LAN port needs to be connected to LAN switch that is "Untagged" for the Voice VLAN...what about the ETX port? I will have a Adtran Router which I plan to connect the separately wired Voice LAN and the Data LAN...the LAN's are not converged...meaning I am not connecting any PC's through phones. Any help would be appreciated.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Yes APC will need a static address as it is a server. If you are installing it into a CX then you can only use Server only mode which means that if you want to install teleworker then the APC card will need to be in a DMZ to have access from the Internet. The APC should come with MSL installed but if not then you will need a USB CD ROM to install the Linux. Secure telnet to the 3300 RTC address on port 2005 to see APC boot and issue commands You will also need to check mitel release notes for any co-residency issues with teleworker and Mobile ext on same server.
