I'm running a trial of a number of soft phones and am having issues with voicemail.

I figured out that to access voicemail I have to dial 5555 (our voicemail port number) followed by a comma (for a delay) and then the voicemail pin code.

This dials the voicemail and enters the pin which is great. Then however you have to set up the voice mailbox, which requires further key presses which you can't do on the soft phone. Also, even if you set this up from a desk phone then when you need to access your voicemail you still need to press buttons for different options, how do you do this?

Is there not an option to send DTMF tones? 5550 IP console does the same thing and you have to program a 'tones' key which when pressed sends DTMF tones for dialled digits

We had the same issue on a large County Council network, however not sure what solved it but pretty sure it was on the Teleworker server.

I can't believe how simple the answer was!

In the YA software, the main window has a keypad that you can minimise. This does not seem to work when dialling voicemail for some reason but when you have dialled voicemail a window pops up to allow you to control that call - this window has another copy of the same keypad but this one works.

I'm actually annoyed at myself for not noticing!
