Does anyone know what the TO: URI should look like "going up" a Mitel
SIP Trunk?

I'm integrating OCS 2007 with my Mitel Controller but i don't know what OCS should "saying" to the mitel to get to an extension number.

Thanks in advance,

Thad

OCS and E.164

From what I understand, the SIP URI for an OCS user (for Enterprise Voice) needs to be in the E.164 format.

e.g. SIP:+14255551234@<FQDN of PBX or SOMETHING>

I'm not sure what the FQDN part should be!

that's what i thought. Why is this so hard!

From testing i've been doing I think the FQDN bit might actually need to be the IP Address of the controller.

I have no idea why this is so hard, but it's getting worse!

I've got OCS sending the SIP requests to the Mitel using the format I mentioned eariler (with the FQDN of the mitel PBX) and the 3300 is sending back a reply that it got the request and then a 404 that it can't find the reciepient. The next step is figuring out how to get the Mitel convert the number from SIP and then route it to the PSTN.

Any ideas?

What do you have set in OCS user options under "Server URI" and "Line URI" ?
