Location: Quebec city Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I do have SIP user licenses! I have a softphone working (X-Lite) My need is to install ONS lines on remote sites! The module is "converting" IP phone device (in this case the Sipura module) to a n analog line(ONS) for a fax or other uses!!! Before version 7.1 we had a two modules setup (with MutiTech VOIP). Noew with version 7.1 it's compatible with SIP users so a module like Sipura(or any other SIP devices) should work!!! Can someone help me with the setup of the SPA1001(or other model number would do also)!

Location: Quebec city Rep Power: 0 ![]() | One of my friend technician tried a similar setup and it works. He told me that I only need a SIP user license (not a SIP trunk). He used a MultiTech VOIP to make it working. He will help me out with the Sipura module I'll let you know. The setup will be great because I have multi IP sites and instead of using OPX lines or 1FL I only use those modules for faxes line!!!

The Sipura dials and initiates the call but no audio on both sides! There seems to be a problem with the audio codec... I'm waiting for info from tech support at Sipura! ...

Location: Quebec city Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Yes here is the reason why there was non audio. The RTP packet size has to be 20ms instead of 30ms(default value) All the other default values are the same. In exception of the dial plan. (I have to match my needs. Here is what I used : ([1-8]xx | [1-8]xxx | [1-8]xxxx | [1-9]xxxxxxx | [1-9]xxxxxxxxxx | [1-9]xxxxxxxxxxx) I hope this will help someone else!
