SX2000 Connection to Cisco 2811

I have a SX2000 (ver. 34.2.5.3) that I am attempting to intergrate to a Cisco 2811 router using a NSU. I am having problems setting up a talk path between the two that displays caller-id.

When using a PRI between the SX2000 and the 2811 router, I get caller-id, but no talk path. The ringing sounds like an old telephone and when the called party answers all you hear is static.

When using a T1 between the SX2000 and the 2811 router, I get a talk path but no caller-id.

We are in the testing phase of upgrading our 14 networked SX2000 PBX system to a Cisco VoIP solution. This is our first attempt at connecting the Mitel PBX to the Cisco router.

If any one can provide some insight I would greatly appreciate it. I'm a old phoneman and VoIP is fairly new to me.

Hello masander, when using Cisco to link kit you really need to make sure you have the following options... I have only worked on Cisco links to other makes of system, not Mitel to Mitel, with tis we have had various issues with Alpha tagging and diverts. Hopefully it works better for you over there.....

MSA-A-36 ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery

MSA-A-18 MSDN/DPNSS Data (if they wish to transmit data over the QSIG link)

MSA-A-19 MSDN/DPNSS Public Network Access

MSA-A-15 MSDN/DPNSS Voice I

MSA-A-17 MSDN/DPNSS Voice III (if they want to transmit name and receive name from QSIG network)

MSA-A-32 MSDN/DPNSS Voice V

MSA-A-52 PRI Card - QSIG.

FunkyMonkey, I really appreciate the reply. I will check these setting and let you know what I find.
