Exclamation Modems on ONS Stations not connecting.

I am using an unmodified ONS/OPS Circuit Descriptor, so these are Short(ONS) Stations. Calls going out with a variety of modems are going out over my IP Trunks. They begin to connect to the remote modems, but negotiate until the timeout. Is there something I should set which will allow this to work. I have no doubt the issue is the IP Trunks.

What PBX/software release is this on? 3300 ICP Release 7.0 has an issue with fax and modem calls over IP trunks; the issue is fixed in 7.1 and there's also a work-around.

7.0. So this is a known issue fixed in 7.1? Is this documented anywhere?

Yes, on Mitel On-Line. A tech bulletin on this topic was published in late January with the work-around.

So there's a workaround? Or is it a new release?

Both. The issue is fixed in 7.1 UR2, due out next month, and in the interim, there's a workaround that's outlined in Mitel Tech Bulletin # 07-5191-0081

This was fixed for me by using the T2EFaxDetOn() through the SSH connection to both the Gateway and Primary controller RTC. Thanks for the outstanding help and direction.
