Having problems getting information concerning the 3300. We have a client that does not have a local mail server of their own so I put the smtp server address that they are using into the Email Server option in the System Option form.

The system has a Hostname but it doesn't allow me to put a fully qualified one IE {hostname.domain.com}.

In the SX-200 I can give it a full hostname.

Is this version of the 3300 ICP only compatible with Exchange or Lotus? I created a A Name entry in the domain server so that we can ping the hostname of the switch. Is it possible to work around this issue in the DNS server?
