SX2000 and SX2000 light

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between an SX2000 and an SX2000 light?

Thanks,

The difference is the cabinet style. Both accept the same cards.

the light is called light because the cabs link together using the fim card and a fibre cable.

The name SX2000 is generic as there used to be older models all were SX2000 but were followed by model types like S, and SG, the newer models being the Light and microlight which as far as I know is the only one which has not got redundancy.

Actually a "light" can be fully redundant. There's the "Light", Light non-redundant, and the MicroLIGHT which basically combines a non-redundant control cabinet with a Peripheral node.
