Mitel SX200 Light and Avaya Modular Messaging

Hello Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone has had experience installing an Avaya MM system with the SX200. They seem to be working alright (inband integration), but there are a couple features that we would like to use but have been unable to get working. The most important is the internal call display. The mitel has the ability to send the calling party ID (through the use of a speed dial and *, but the MM is unable to accept it. Avaya seems to be stumped, but I am hoping someone in this forum might have the answer.

Thanks

The SX200 is sending dtmf digits which the MM system is getting, but it there seems to be a mis-communication when sending the calling party ID for internal calls. It is receiving the called party id but seems to blend the 2 fields together if the calling party id is sent too.

Yes it is an analog integration between an ONS card on the SX200 and the Dialogic card on the S3400.

Talking

Spent most of Friday night going through old Avaya configuration notes and information from some old config sheets that our service provider had. Got the Mitel to send the calling ID information and managed to show Modular Messaging how to accept the information. The config notes for Avaya are out in left field, the SX200 can show internal call ID and external call ID regardless of what their notes say. I would hazard a guess that the SX2000 with an inband integration can also be made to do this.
