I would like to know if somebody know how to configure a session on DSA to administer or connect to an Octel Aria 250

I normally use procomm to emulate the WYSE 50 terminal but I do not how to do it with DSA.

Best Regards

I'm not sure you can use WYSE 50 with ASA, at least with the version I'm using....

I also tried but have not been able to use DSA on the Octel 250. I can connect to a couple of Intuity Audix systems I maintain, but the Octel is a no go.

If you find out how, please let me know so I can consolidate my connection software. Even though I do like ProComm.

I ahve been able to connect, but get too many invalid character errors that prevent ASA from being useful. I always end up going back to Procomm.

You need to change the terminal type on the Octel to either a 4410 or a vt100 in menu 6.3, then use the same in ASA (DSA)

Thanks Brian.
I tried both VT100 and 4410 and still get the same errors.

Hi there I have a stupid question in response to your post. If I go into menu 6.3 and change to vt100 can I then use Hyper term to connect? What problems if any will that pose for the emulation on the sat term? Can I just change it back if it does not work?

If you change the type then the dialup modem changes to that also. If you change the serviceport.
