| Junior Member | DATA ENTRY Hello, PBX and octel are the two systems that we are using in our company. We are having problems with voice mail. if i have a phone that have two dn and each of them have voice mail. on key 0 one dn and key 1 the other. If key 1 the person is on the phone, it will be busy instead of going in the voice mail. No problems with key 0. Any idea how i should program this? Please email me: fleur_ete@yahoo.fr |

| Moderator  | Quick Config Tool Cisco IPCE-QCT depending on the PBX. If you have a Nortel system, you should seperate the two lines (put one on key 0, a key in the middle (say an auto dial or something) and the other extension on key 2) Once this is done, set LHK to 2. If you don't seperate the two numbers and set your LHK to 1, the first line will hunt to the second one before going to mail and possibly cause you problems. |

If you have other Nortel PBX related questions, click on the link below or http://nortel.pbxinfo.com/ (same user ID and pwd) for the Nortel Portal. There is a forum there specifically for Nortel gear. For Octel questions, best stay here (unless RIX has another area to suggest?) |
