Location: Chlt-NC Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Avaya has not announced anything yet, but I expect something soon. The begining of this month pricing has been changed for Octel. For "preferred" customers, pricing has gone up 10%, if you are not classified as a preferred customer list pricing has risen a whopping 50%. I think it is a travesty, as I do not feel the ne MM product has established itself yet. I am with a large corporation, and we are continuting to buy Octels, we have not jumped on the MM bandwagon yet. We've probably bought 3 in the past month, and soon will purchase a 350. I wish the Call Pilot met our networking needs so the Octel/MM dilemna would be a non issue.

Rep Power: 39 ![]() | The eol (end of life ) for some older model octels has been announced by Avaya. The Avaya website has all the latest info. What a shame that Octel was purchased by avaya, they cant even keep their company name for more than a few years. They had to BUY OUT a company just to keep them from stomping there axx in the voicemail business. Sad to see them out of production, the revised avaya junk is plain low quality stuff
