Audix R1 V8 -- Help! Link Problem

We've just changed out an Audix R1 V8 with another duplicate system to connect to our Avaya G3v3i04.0.058.1. The only different is there are 3 additional voice cards in the new Audix system. Shouldn't the configuration stay the same? We can test and connect to each individual voice station/ext but the link is not working. We have the error "VIP L4 out of trasfer remote" and "failure at host switch". What could be effecting the link between the PBX and Audix when each individual port works (have to enable and the then we can check voicemail and messages), but when we try to use the hunt-group extensions, it won't work. The data-module in the phone system shows "in-service"...dont' know where is to look for problem. Please Help

You have an R1 Audix? I didn't know any of those still existed. I will have to see if I can dig up any documentation on it. I don't remember the menu trees in it.

Couple things. In the PBX, status the link and see what it says. In the Audix go to the diagnostics menu and make sure the link is not busied out or displays some other problem. Did you reprogram the link info in the new system or just move the hard drive over? If you used the drive that came with the new system, there might be some customer options different.

Since all R1 Audix hardware is 20+ years old, you might have just gotten a bad card in it. Swap the link card with the one in the other Audix and see if anything changes.
