Hello all,

I need some Audix help here. Is is possible to have two separate mailboxes linked to 1 phone number? I need this because there are areas where multiple people share 1 phone number and all of the messages go to a common mailbox. Basically, I need it set up so callers can hit a key to decide which user to leave a voicemail for. Thanks, Dave.

You could set the top level as an Auto Attendant. Let us say the station is 2345 and the two people are John and Jack.

A person calls 2345 and it covers to voice mail, the caller will hear "Press 1 if you want to leave a message for John or press 2 to leave a message for Jack (you would, of course, have to record this greeting). On the Auto Attendant choose two unused station numbers, say 3456 and 4567 to assign as John and Jack's station numbers. You will also need to add those stations to the Definity as x-ported stations with coverage to voice mail.
