VERIZON STRIKE

Ok, the switch is up and running, and no problems with it. Nortel has dialed in and made sure of the patches and the firmware revisions on the 3900 sets. Switch in process of a sys wide flash download at this time. Only prob is when a call is trn to a sta, it doesn't go to vm, it returns to att. Calls to a sta's DID # forward or hunt on to the vm. Nortel tech said to set up acd group for the vm, but I am at a loss as to how to do it. I have 6 acd groups with 6 different ran announcements in the switch now, and all work fine. Prob I have is not prog th 500 sets for acd, it's how to program them to appear and work with the 2616 and 2008 sets in the DMID. Anybody got a clue, or has anyone done this before??? Avaya wants to charge an arm and a leg for tech support on this, and of course I'd like to avoid this if possible. :casstet: :casstet: :casstet:

ACD FROA

Go to www.avaya.com, go to the product documentation for Octel. You'll have to do some poking around, bu you should be able to find a config note for the M1 and DMID. These config notes are actually pretty good, they show you how to program the CDB,telephone sets, and ACD.

rhack, we have the notes on the DMID, but the only thing said about acd is when the DMID is used with more than 12 ports. Then the DMID has an additional 2008 set inst in it. It tells how to prog it for acd, but not the 500 sets and 2616 in the DMID. The vm works fine except for a trn call, which returns to the att. :casstet: :casstet:
