Rep Power: 0 ![]() | This may no longer be an issue but it sounds like the Octel is not getting a good calling party ID. Use CDR (Call Detail Record) to find out what the calling party ID recorded for messages from internal extensions. If the ID does not match either the mailbox number or alias number you will be unable to reply to messages. If this is the problem there are several possible solution. The meridian configuration can be changed to send a recognizable ID. For systems using DMID this will mean the Calling Party number that appears on the phone display should match the mailbox. If the ID needs to be longer than the mailbox to accomidate dial plan or caller ID the Octel has some control of parsing incoming calling party ID. In situation where the station has different DNs for internal and external calls and alias address will need to be added to each mailbox so that the extension will be correctly identified. | ||||||||
